human rights commission is here...

the commission arrived today and already met with some key individuals from the pro-zelaya resistance group. namely, carlos reyes, an independent candidate for president and ponce, a leader of the resistance front. they both were injured in demonstrations last week. there was a march today led by deposed president zelaya's wife and daughter aand thankfully, as of tonight, there has been no report of any violence connected to it. the commission is being led by Luz Patricia Mejía from Venezuela. she said on her arrival that they will not meet with president micheletti or anyone from his administration. interesting way to gather facts. they will be meeting with representatives of the police and the military. they will be here until friday.
