Today was another great day. We were able to build a house for a woman who is almost blind, her husband and two children. They have been living in the church at San Miguel since their home was destroyed in the floods about two weeks ago. Her usband was a big help and we completed the work just as it was beinning to rain again. The rain we are getting now is not torrential so the waters are continuing to recede and people are beinning to dry out. Keep praying as I am convinced that it is the readers of this blog who God is listening to more than others. Thanks for being among the truly righteous......Ha! Ha!

Finally brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things.What a great discipline! There is so much in our world that is not any of those things, that I got thinking that it would be an awesome discipline to take time out regularly to think about the good in life, and more specifically, my life. I got thinking about what that would be and I really believe that the one thing in my life that most resembles all that is good and right is my marriage. I know, that is really pretty corny, but really.....Lori and I have come through so much together that of all the things and stuff and people in my life, the relationship I have with my wife has grown into the thing that is really true, noble, right, lovely, admirable, excellent, and worthy of praise. When I see the ugliness of the world around me, and right now, in the midst of the poverty and "unfair realities" that I see in Honduras, I'm really seeing the ugliness. That is when I want to think of my wife and my marriage. I want to discipline myself to see such goodness in the midst of the ugly of life. I want to think of my marriage because of everything I have ever done it is definitely a place that I can see what God can do even when we have tried our damnedest to mess it up. Go God!!
