Just returned from the beach town of Tela, Honduras on the north coast. We took a quick 4 day break with all the interns before gearing up for the final push through the summer. It was a great spot and the water was terrific. 6-8 foot waves made for some great body surfing. It also made for an exhausting day in the water as the surf and current were very strong and relentless. I tried to find a surfboard, but was unsuccessful in my search. I've never had a chance to surf before and would have loved to try it...oh well, maybe another time. I will put up some pictures later of the trip.
