I love seeing God do His thing! Yesterday we helped finish building a new store as an addition onto the home of a woman named Xiomara (See-o-mara). She is a Mi Esperanza loan recipient and it is exciting to see her dream of owning a store come to fruition. Joe Merrilott (a young man working as a missionary here) and Gena Hines have taken this woman under their wing and are discipling her. They are doing it in such an awesome way. They are are willing to get into her life and help her any way they can. Not just so she can someday go to heaven, but so that she can manage life now right where she is. They are being Jesus in the midst of Xiomara's difficulties. I love what Greg has written the last couple of posts about this type of community life and what we as God's people have the opportunity to do as we journey together in this world. Discipling and being discipled. We get a chance to be used by God to open up the reality of "Kingdom living" now for those we get to spend time with as they open it up for us. I love seeing God do His thing!
