Well, I took a month off from the blog world. Not really sure why. Just needed a break I guess. I've always been that way. I do something for a little while and then I get tired of it, bored with it, lazy with it, etc. Probably why I've had so many jobs in my life. Auto mechanic, insurance agent, real estate agent, forklift operator, convience store attendant, logger, fast food restaurant worker, construction laborer, golf professional, product developer, dishwasher, cashier, kitchen fabricator, machine shop foreman, caddie, factory worker, cabinet builder, shoe sole puller, security guard, etc., etc. I am just about to enter my twelfth year of full time ministry and it is the only thing I don't get tired of. It is definitely something beyond myself that keeps pushing me because when let on my own to decide what I do I can't seem to stick with it, but being with students and trying to serve others never seems to grow old. Thank you Lord for drawing me in and giving me purpose. You are an awesome God!!

Thank Goodness your back,
Tim
Indeed, welcome back.
I forgot that God has given you so many interesting jobs.....from golf pro to insurance agent to logger. Now THAT is a wide bandwidth of incarnational experience to draw upon. Those things ( more than your DLU education) are the things that allow you to richly minister among and spiritually direct those around you.
looking forward to your summer blogging while you are in Honduras. I am also glad your back, thanks for keeping me thinking and exploring my journey!
