Wow, the last week just flew by. It was awesome to have our kids visiting over the weekend. What's even more awesome is to realize you have great kids! Perfect? Not even close, but great for sure. I heard Tony Campolo once say that as a parent the only thing he ever really wanted was to have good kids and I agree. For me successful is having kids that care about others and that express that care in the lives they live and the choices they make and to date both of my kids make me feel very successful. Perfect? Again, not even close but successful for sure. I pray that they continue to realize the importance of commitment and community in their lives and in their marriages and in their walk with God. I see such good in them and I am very proud of who they are and what they have grown into.

.....How's that for sucking up? I'm really trying to avoid ever being placed in a home and figure if I start now then surely either one child or the other will be willing to take me in!! (HA HA)
