"I gave up all that inferior stuff so I could know Christ personally, experience his resurrection power, be a partner in his suffering, and go all the way with him to death itself." ~Philippians 3:10

I can't stop thinking about that new grandson of mine, Will Remington Connell. I'm not sure what Lori and I were thinking leaving him in Tulsa, OK with his parents! I mean, think about it....we should have brought him home with us. We know what we're doing and they are totally inexperienced. No telling how many mistakes they will make and it's my grandson!

Truth is, I have nothing but total confidence in Jenny and Eric. They are going to make great parents. It's just difficult not being able to see that boy anytime I want to. And Will needs his Pops (that's me) doesn't he? Me and Lori are still trying to figure out why it is that both our kids decided to get married and leave town. We can look at it two ways... 1. We did a great job of raising kids that are independent and confident in their abilities or 2. They just couldn't stand being around us anymore and got out as quick as they could. I guess we'll never know (and it's probably better that way).

Later!

I am inclined to suggest that it is the 1st reason. You and mom prepared us to be who we are and taught us to be confident in who we are.
Eric and Jenny will be great parents. Atleast I can speak for Eric, in that, he had great examples to look up to and learn from. You can rest assure that you were amazing parents (I can say that now) and we are lucky to have such GREAT examples!!!!!!
