My mom has been here for almost a week and it has been great to have her here. She has been all over getting a small taste of our day to day here. Shae has always hated the heat, but she has not let it bother her one bit. She has definitely been a trooper. Monday they went to a place where they make lenca pottery. It is two hours south, close to the El Salvadorian border and it was 42 degrees Celsius! That's 107 Fahrenheit!

Today, we are headed to the dump to serve lunch to those that live there.
