"...lifewould not make sense, if God did not exist." This reminds me that at the time I was an atheist, the world did not make sense. This was easier to cope with, if we were all an accident-- not some higher being's actual intent. Let's face it, if we are some higher being's intent, well then people with a spiritual void can't cope. That's why the phrase "coping mechinisms" usualy refers to bad things.
