"I gave up all that inferior stuff so I could know Christ personally, experience his resurrection power, be a partner in his suffering, and go all the way with him to death itself." ~Philippians 3:10

Honduran residency....... ARGHHHHHHHH!

We have been waiting since August to renew our residency here and it is finally finished..... I think. The process is very confusing and it has been somewhat expensive. Today we spent a little over three hours at immigration. Most of it just waiting in line. Altogether we have paid money at the bank three different times, submitted pictures three different times and made countless phone calls to our lawyer. Hopefully today was the end. I got a piece of paper with a pcture on it that says I'm a resident, but it will be 60 days begore we the official "carnet". It is what it is. Another example of how difficult things can be here. It just seems that nothing is easy.

My brother-in-law, Donny, and I went and put in the four posts for the house addition we will be putting up tomorrow. It went pretty well. We are not digging in rock for this house. Sometimes digging a hole two feet deep can take a couple hours, but not with this one. Tomorrow we will finish it.

Jennifer and Donny went and fed the people that live at the dump a meal while Lori and I were at immigration. They went with our friends, Marc and Terri Tindall, who do it every Wednesday. It can be a very overwhelming experience. Realizing that there are people in the world that actually make their home at the dump. I'm sure that both Jennifer and Donny are experiencing something new in their souls. You can't go and not be affected by what you see.

Everything is like that, isn't it? Every experience we have is forming us and shaping us into whatever it is we are becoming.

Grace & peace.
