I was saddened yesterday to read of the death of Mike Yacconelli. Some of you may be familiar with him. He was founder and president of Youth Specialties, an organization dedicated to youth ministry. He is sometimes called the father of modern youth ministry and has influenced countless youth workers and volunteers. I am one of those he influenced. Mike was the author of many books.
