"I gave up all that inferior stuff so I could know Christ personally, experience his resurrection power, be a partner in his suffering, and go all the way with him to death itself." ~Philippians 3:10

the craziness continues.....

luis estrada called me tonight while the police were in his neighborhood trying to enforce the curfew. it wasn't a pretty sight. i could hear the tear gas being launched in the background. he said it was crazy. as you all know, many people need to get out daily just to buy food, water, milk, etc. there are a lot of folks pretty upset with the all day curfew (which has been extended for another full day). they need to get out for necessities and when they do, the police are forcing them back inside. its not even mel supporters or demonstrators, just people needing to feed their families. we are hearing that this is happening in many neighborhoods. even the mel haters just want to be free to get the things they need and right now they can't.

micheletti said today that he is more than willing to talk to anyone, anytime, anywhere to reach a solution, but the solution can not include zelaya's return to power or a delay in the scheduled elections. he also included that the dialogue could provide a political solution, but not a legal one. mel will still have to face the judicial process no matter what. got to give the guy his due.... he is standing firm in spite of the intense pressure being exerted against honduras.

no solution in sight as of now.
