"I gave up all that inferior stuff so I could know Christ personally, experience his resurrection power, be a partner in his suffering, and go all the way with him to death itself." ~Philippians 3:10

What I've been listening to.....

Homebrewed Christianity - they have had a series running with thoughts about evolution and faith. Pretty engaging stuff. Guests have included Michael Dowd, author of Thank God for Evolution, Daniel Harrell, author of Nature's Witness:How Evolution Can Inspire Faith, and Bruce Sanguin, author of Darwin, Divinity, and the Dance of the Cosmos:An Ecological Christianity. Definitely some food for thought. I'm still digesting as most of it is a little more academic than I can handle on a first listen. I've always wondered why the scientific and theological have felt the need to be at such odds with each other. Surely there is room for a little ambiguity to be acceptable for both.

Nick and Josh Podcast - Josh recently interviewed Daniel Harrell also. Must be the latest "thing" in emergent circles. Josh tries to get Mr. Harrell to answer the questions about why the scientific and theological disciplines struggle to find common ground and then explores how that might come to happen.
