preparing for lent....

what to do, what to do. what to do.... (or not do!)

if anyone has a suggestion about what i should "give up" for lent, i would love to hear it. i have been really thinking and praying about this for more than a week now and i am really struggling to figure out what to do. i keep thinking god will show me something that he would like for me to do without. maybe he wants me to decide for myself what i'm willing to give up. i know what i'm not willing to give up. you know what i mean? it seems pretty easy to decide what you won't sacrifice, but a chore to find something you will. i've still got another 30 or more hours to debate with myself about it before our ash wednesday service tomorrow and that fits right in with being the great procrastinator i am, so.......
